SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF SEWER PIPE, WYE BRACHES AND STOPPERS
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO CONTRACT TO PURCHASE SAPIE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C010ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Petter
Supply Company in the amount of 56,959.98 for sale to the City of
certain sewer p.tpe, wye branches and stoppers, said bid being as
follows:

The above prices are f.o.b. Paducah, Kentucky job site in truckload lots
of 20,000 lbs. minimum. Delivery may be had immediately upon receipt of
your order. We can furnish 3' or 4' lengths in 15" sewer pipe.
All pipe and fittings made to conform. to A.S.T.II. Sepoifications c -13-50T
Terms: 30 days net, or 2;S cash discount from gross of invoice by 10th
of month following date of invoice."
SECTIOIsr R. That the l-rayor be, and he is hereby authorized
to enter into a contract with said Petter Supply Company for the
purchase of the material as set out in Section I hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for public inspection for at least one (1) week in the completed
from in which it shall be put upon its final passage, but it being
necessary to purchase said material at the earliest possible date in
order that the sewer to be constrvcted may be started immediately, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in
full force and effect from and after its adoption.
