HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 1195, No Ordinance Number11955 v AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING AS A PUBLIC PARKING LOT THE GROUNDS ADJACENT TO THE CITY SCALES ON THE GTEST SIDE OF SECOND STREET BETWEEN WASHINGTON AND KENTUCKY AVENUE IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KEI✓TUCKY; FIXING THE FEES TO BE CHARGED FOR THE PARKING OF VEHICLES THEREON; PRESCRIBING THE DUTIES OF THE CITY TIEIGNmSTER IN C011ivECTION WITH THE MANAGEMENT OF SAID PARKING LOT AND COLLECTING THE FEES FOR THE USE THEREOF; AND FIXING THE PEIIALTIES FOR ANY VIOLATION THEREOF", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON MAY 21, 1946. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COl•IMISSIONERS OF TFE CITY OF PADUCAH_, KENTUCKY. SECTION 1. That Section 2 of an ordinance containing the title quoted above, which was adopted on May 21, 1946, be, and the same is hereby, amended and orordained so that said Section as amended and reordained shall read as follows: "SECTION 2. The aforesaid lot shall be available for the use of the owner or operator of any vehicle who may desire to park the same thereon, but it shall be unlawfal for such owner or operator to park his vehicle on said lot between the hours of 7 A.N. and 5 P.M. without first paying to the City of Paducah the following fees: 06.25 for 4 hours parking 00.50 for all day parking It shall also be unlawful for the owner or operator to leave his vehicle parked or standing on said lot for a longer period than for which he has paid as provided under the terms of this o-dinance." SECTION R. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SECTION 3.
