, AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF MID-CONTINENT PETROLEUM
CPRPORATION FOR SALE TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF A ROTARY LIFT, AND
AUTHORIZING THEMAYOR TO CONTRACT TO PURCHASE SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C0j191ISS1_Q0?S OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY.
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Mid -
Continent Petroleum Corporation in the amount of $742.00 for sale to
the City of one Model T -210-A Rotary Lift, two post, 20,000 capacity,
f.o.b. factory, said Corporation to supervise installation.
SECTION 2. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby authorized
to enter into a contract with said Mid -Continent Petroleum Corporation
for the purchase of same.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on
file for public inspection for at least one (1) week in the completed
from in which it shall be put upon its final passage, but it being
necessary to purchase said lift at the earliest possible date in
order that the cityrs trucks may be kept in good condition, an
emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be
in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
