A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO GRANT TO THE WESTERN
KENTUCKY GAS COMPANY A PERMIT TO LAY GAS PLAINS IN CERTAIN GRASS PLOTS IN THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SAID PERMITS SHALL BE
GRANTED
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COP11ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah authorize the City Engineer
to grant to the Western Kentucky Gas Company a permit to lay a gas main in the
north grass plot of Campbell Street from 6th Street to 8th Street, and also
in the north grass plot of 14th Street, west from Faxon Avenue. Said permits shal
be granted upon condition that said company comply with all the provisions of an
ordinance entitled: "AP? ORDINANCE REGULATING THE DIGGING, OPENING OR EXCAVATING
IN ANY STREET, SIDEWALK, GRASS PLOT, ALLEY OR OTHER PUBLIC WAY OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND FIXING THE PENALTY FOR ANY VIOLATION THEREOF", which
was adopted on September 4, 1946, as amended thereafter, and also with the pro-
visions of another ordinance entitled: 99Ad ORDINANCE FURTHER REGULATING THE
DIGGING, OPENING OR EXCAVATING IN ANY STREET, SIDEWALK, GRASS PLOT, ALLEY OR OTHER
PUBLIC WAY IPI THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND FIXING THE PENALTY FOR ANY
VIOLATION THEREOF", which was adopted on June 17, 1947.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
