AN.ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF PETTER SUPPLY COMPANY FOR THE SALE
TO THE CITY OF PADUCAH OF A BOILER AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO CONTRACT
TO PURCHASE SAME
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah accept.the bid of Petter Supply
Company in the amount of 04,052.66 £or sale to the City of one (1) Model BF -200-5
"Cleaver Brooks", 50 horsepower boiler, delivery only, complete 10 days to 2
weeks f.o.b. Car Paducah.
SECTION 2. That the City Manager
.be, and he is hereby, authorized to
purchase, for and on behalf of the City of Paducah,.said boiler as set out in
Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be introduced at a meeting of the
Board of Commissioners and.remain.on file for public inspection for at least
one (1) week in the. completed form in which it shall be put upon its final
passage, but it being necessary for the.Street Division to have said boiler at
the earliest possible date so that the work of said division may be carried on
without delay, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance
shall be in full .force and effect from and after its adoption.
