That Section 1 of an ordinance containing the title quoted above, which ordinance was adopted by the Loard of Commissioners on July 11, 1950, be and t1-3 same is hereby amended so that said section as amended shall read as follows: "Section 1. That the City I,lanager be, and he is hereby authorized to appoint a suitable person to be employed in the office of the City Treasurer as an assistant collector of licenses. The person so appointed shall be employed until October 1st, 1950 and his employment being temporary or seasonal, as pro- vided under P,RS 90.300, he shall not acquire any rights under the rules of civil service governing employees in cities of the second class. It shall be the duty of the assistant license collector to work with the license inspector and members of the police department in the collection of all delinquent licenses, and he shall be subject to the control and direction of the City Treasurer in the performance of his duties." SECTION 2. There is hereby transferred from the contingent fund the sum of ti?400.00 in order to provide the funds necessary for pay4lent of the salary of said assistant license collector for his services from August lot to October lot, 1950, the sum of ,;200.00 having heretofore been appropriated under the aforesaid ordinance for payment of his salary from July lot to August lot, 1950, and the sun of $400.00 shall be transferred to the fund out of which all other employees of the city are paid. SECTION 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to cause to be published in the Sun -Democrat a notice of the introduction of this ordinance and of the proposal to make the transfer of funds in the foregoing section. Said notice to be published at least two weeks before this ordinance shall be put upon its final passage. 3ECTIO75 4. This ordinance shall be introduced at a regular meeting of the Board sioners and remain on file for public inspection for two weeks in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and it shall be in full force and effect from and after 'ts adoption.
