A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO GRANT TO THE WESTERN
KENTUCKY GAS COMPANY A PERMIT TO LAY A GAS MAIN IN THE SOUTH GRASS PLOT OF
HARRISON STREET, AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SAID PERMIT SHALL
BE GRANTED.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah authorize the City Engineer to
grant to the western Kentucky Gas Company a permit to lay a gas main in the
south grass plot of Harrison Street, 190 feet west feom 14th Street. Said
permit shall be granted upon condition that said company comply with all the provi
of an ordinance entitled: "!AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE DIGGING, OPENING OR EXCAV
TING IN ANY STREET, SIDEWALK, GRASS PLOT, ALLEY OR OTHER PUBLIC WAY OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND FIXING THE PENALTY FOR ANY VIOLATION THEREOF", which
was adopted on September 4, 1946, as amended thereafter, and also with the
provisions of another ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE FURTHER REGULATING THE
DIGGING, OPENING OR EXCAVATING IN ANY STREET, SIDEWALK, GRASS PLOT, ALLEY OR
OTHER PUBLIC WAY IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND FIXING THE PENALTY FOR ANY
VIOLATION THEREOF", which was adopted on June 17, 1947.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
