HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 1147, No Ordinance NumberAN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF BROADWAY BETWEEN 23RD STREET AND 24TH STREET AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY. SECTION 1. That a resolution adipted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning Commission on April ls, 1953, entitled: "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF BROADWAY BETWEEN 23RD STREET AND 24TH STREET", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters therein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following Property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-4 to B-1: Property bounded on the north by the center Zine of Broadway, on the east by the center line of 23rd Street, on the west by the center Zine of 24th street, and on the south by the center line of the alley which runs east and west half way between Broadway and Kentucky Avenue. SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN -ZONING 1'1AP1?, be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereby, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions.
