HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 1145, No Ordinance NumberAN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF EIGHTH AND MONROE STREETS AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C011MISSIONERS OF,THE CITY OF PADUCA% KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paducah Planning and Zoning Commission on April 16, 1953, entitled: "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF TW PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF EIGHTH AND MONROE STREETS", be approved as the final report of said Commission respecting the matters tae rein set forth. SECTION R. That the zone classifiaation of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-4 to B-3: Beginning at the intersection of the east line of 8th Street and the center Zine of the alley which runs east and west between Monroe and Jeferson Streets; thence east with the center line of said alley 160 feet; thence at right angles north65 feet; thence at right angles west 8 feet; thence at right angles north 50 feet; thence 'at right angles east 14 feet; thence at right angles north to the center line of Monroe Street; thence west with the center line of Monroe Street to the center line of 8th Street; thence south with the center line of 8th Street to the center line of the aforesaid alley extended; thence east with the center Zine of said alley extended to the point of beginning. SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and, the map referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN -ZONING MAP", be, and they are hereby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the change, provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4. That if any section, paragraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the purpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all other sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in fu11 force and effect from and after its adoption.
