HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 12, Page 1144, No Ordinance Number2244 A X37 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION RESPECTING THE REZONING OF PROPERTY ON CAIRO ROAD WEST OF PALM STREET AND AMENDING THE PADUCAH ZONING ORDINANCE SO AS TO EFFECT SUCH REZONING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY. . SECTION 1. That a resolution adopted by the Paduc& Planning and Zoning Commission on April 23; 1953, entitled: "A RESOLUTION CONSTITUTING THE FINAL REPORT OF THE PADUCAH PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION ON THE PROPOSED REZONING OF PROPERTY ON CAIRO ROAD WEST OF PALM STREET". be approved as the final report -of satd Commission respecting the matters tkrein set forth. SECTION 2. That the zone classification of the following property be, and it is hereby, changed from R-3 to B-3; Beginning at a point in the center line of Cairo Road 112.58 feet east of the intersection of that line and the,east line of Louise Street extended, as measured along said center line of Cairo Road; thence north and parallel to Palm Street 412.5 feet, more or less, to the center line of 12th Street; thence west with the center Zine of 12th Street 109 feet; thence north parallel with Palm Street 664.25 feet; thence west atan interior angle of 88 degrees 179.4 feet; thence south at an tnterior'angle of 92 degrees to the center Zine of Cairo Road; thence east with the center line of Cairo Road to the beginning. SECTION 3. That the Paducah Zoning Ordinance and the map referred to in Section 13 thereof entitled "CITY OF PADUCAH PLAN -ZONING MAP" be, and they are (herby, amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to effect and designate the changes provided for in Section 2 hereof. SECTION 4. That if any section, parpgraph or provision of this ordinance shall be found to be inoperative, ineffective or invalid for any cause, the deficiency or invalidity of such section, paragraph or provision shall not affect any other section, paragraph or provision hereof, it being the fourpose and intent of this ordinance to make each and every section, paragraph and provision hereof separable from all otla r sections, paragraphs and provisions. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in dAzll force and effect from and after its adoption.
