A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO GRANT TO THE WESTERN
KENTUCKY GAS COMPANY PERMITS TO LAY GAS MAINS IN CERTAIN GRASS PLOTS IN THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, AND PRESCRIBING THE CONDITIONS UPON WHICH SAID PERP1ITS SHALL
BE GRANTED.
BE IT RESDLVED BY THE.BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah authorize the City Engineer to
grant to the Western Kentucky Gas Company permits to lay gas mains in the
following grass plots:
North grass plot of Beiderman Street, approximately
165 feet west from Virginia Street.
North grass plot of Ohio Street, approximately
825 feet west from 28th street.
Vilest grass plot of 14th street beginning at Madison
Street to Park Avenue, thence in the east grass plot
of 14th street to Millett.
Said permits shall be granted upon condition that said company comply with all
the provisions of an ordinance entitled: "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE DIGGING,
OPENING OR EXCAVATING IN ANY STREET, SIDEWALK, GRASS PLOT, ALLEY OR OTHER PUBLIC
WAY OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND FIXING THE PENALTY FOR ANY VIOLATION
THEREOF", which was adopted on September 4, 1946, as amended thereafter, and
also with the provisions of another ordinance entitled: IIANI ORDINANCE FURTHER
REGULATING THE DIGGING, OPENING OR EXCAVATING IN ANY STREET, SIDEWALK, GRASS PLOT
ALLEY OR OTHER PUBLIC MAY IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND FIXING THE PENALT
FOR ANY VIOLATION THEREOF", which was adopted on June 17, 1947•
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
