B&IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C0thIfISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 8-D and Section 9 of the "Appointive -mPloyee's Civil Service Ordinance'; which was adopted, by the Board of Commissioners on December 2, 1947 and amended on January 30, 1953, i be further amended and reordained so that said sections as amended and reordained shall read as follows: "SECTIOPI 8-D. There is hereby authorized and created the following positions in the Floodwall Department, and the salary of each position, provided the amount of such salary is not changed under any apportionment ordinance hereafter adopted shall be as follows: Position No. Position Salary per Month I Floodwall Superintendent (Head of Dept.) x385.00 2 Floodwall Foreman y;296.00 3 Floodwall Naintenance Nen (3 positions) 272.00 (formerly Llaintenanee Dperators) "SECTION 9.There is hereby authorized and created the following positions not assigned to any department of the City of Paducah, but directly under the supervision of the City Aanager, and the salary of each position, provided the amount of such salary is not changed under any apportionment ordinance hereafter adopted shall be as follows: Position No. Position Salaru per 1onth l City Clerk X296.00 2 Secretary to City Llanager ,"284.00 3 Clerk -typist J200. 00 4 Social Worker 1;120.00 INSPECTIONS 1 Chief Inspector 1365.00 (formerly Electrical Inspector) 2 Building Inspector ;;`355.00 3 Clerk -typist :200.00 The person occupying the position of Clerk -typist under this section for the first six months shall be paid a salary of ;180.00 per month, ::190.00 per month for the next six months and -.200.00 per month thereafter upon recommendation of the City i•,'anager". 1087 CL", Z „OJy �3 M 1088 SECTION 2. 772e rates of pay provided for in Sedtion 1 hereof shall be retroactively effective as of January 1, 1953, and any expense incurred as a result of said raises shall be considered o. current departmental expense and shall be provided for in the proper accounts upon adoption of the 1953 Apportionment Ordinance. SNTIQW 3 411 ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SCCTIOlr 4.
