BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COI`•1,1ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah purchase from Lyle Signs, Incorpor- ated, 250 Four -Way Street Signs in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in a Resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners on January 13, 1953 authorizing the advertisement for bids and in accordance with the bid of Lyle Signs, Incorporated, dated January 15, 1953 and filed with said Board. The of each sign, post and necessary attachment shall be ,112.25 per unit f.o.b. Paducah, Kentucky. Shipment shall be made as specified in said bid. SECTION 2. The Mayor of the City of Paducah is hereby authorized and directed to execute the contract for the purchase authorized in Section 1 hereof and the terms therein stated and such other terms as may be deemed to be to the best interest of the City of Paducah. SECTION 3. The cost of said signs is hereby declared to be a current departmental expense and the same shall be charged to the appropriate account in the Department of Public Works upon the adoption of the apDort iorment ordinance of the year 1953• SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced at a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners and remain on file for public inspection for one week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, but it being necessary for the Street Division_ to have said signs at the earliest date possible so that the streets in the city may be properly marked, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption. illayor Introduced by the Board of Commissioners February 10, 1953 Passed by the Board of Commissioners February 17, 1953 Recorded by Sarah Thurman, City Clerk, February 17, 1953•
