A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT THE OFFER OF JOHN
H. MARTIN IN THE SM.'! OF •;;200.00 FOR THE USED RADIO EQUIPMEUT OF THE POLICE

MITERE_1S, John H. Pmrtin has offered ;;200.00 for the purchase of the used
radio equipment in the police department which is to be replac;d by new equipment;
and
WHEREAS, it appearing that the expense of advertising for other bids would
be greater than the probable additional amount vrhich might be offered for said
equipment; and
WHEREAS, it further appearinb that the amount offered is a fair and
reasonable price for said equipment,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COI.EaSSIOITERS OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, MITUCIM
SEC TIOI 1. That the City Manager be, and he is hereby authorized to
accept the sum of �200.00 from John E. martin for the purchase of all of the used
radio equipment now in the service of the police department of the City of Paducah,
the purchase price to be paid in cash.
SECTIO11 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
