That the City 1_anager is hereby authorized and directed to advertise for sealed bids for sterilizing equipment, surgical lights and obstetrical light to be furnished and installed in the Riverside 1lospital Addition in the City of Paducah in accordance with the specifications and drawings in the office of the Administrator of Riverside Hospital, Paducah, Kentuc%y, and also available for inspection in the office of Thomas J. !Nolan cc Sons, Louisville, Kentucky. Bids shall include all labor, material, tools and equipment required to furnish and install all sterilizers as well as surgical and obstetrical lights as shown on the drawings and in accordance with said specifications. Separate bids shall be submitted for the sterilizing egvipmen.t on forms available in said Administrator's office and for surgical and obstetrical lights on forms also available in said Administrator's office. SECITION 2. The City i.`anager shall advertise for bids by posting a notice at the City 1-1a21 door and by inserting notice of the request for bids in a least one (1) issue of the Sun -Democrat. The notice shall be posted and published at least seven (7) days prior to the opening of bids and no bid shall be opened within ten (10) days from the date on which this Resolution is adopted. Ko bid shall be received after the hour fixed in the notice for the opening of bids. All bids received by the City i•."anagen up to the time fixed in the notice for the opening of bids shall be filed with the Board of Commissioners who may let the contract to the lowest responsible bidder. The Board of Commissioners shall not become legally obligated to purchase said equipment until the adoption of any ordinance authorizing the execution of a contract. Me City reserves the right to reject any and all bids. S.:CTION 3.
