E CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, UNDER CIVIL SERVICE RUIE S AND REGULAT:.ONS PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF KRS 90.300 TO 90.990; PROVIDING FOR THE APPOINT- MENT OF A BOARD OF CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSIONERS, FIXING AND PRESCRIBING TSE QUALIFICATIONS, TERMS OF OFFICE, POSERS AND DUTIES OF SAID COMMISSION; PRESCRIB- ING THE RULES BY WHICH TEEI BOARD OF CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSIONERS SMALL BE GOVERNF IN THE GIVING OF EXAMINATIONS TO APPLICANTS FOR EMPLOYMENT; FIXING THE NUMBER, CLASSIFICATION AND SALARIES OF ALL EMPLOYEES IN EACH DEPARTMENT WHO SHALL BE AFFECTED BY THE CIVIL SERVICE RULES AND REGULATIONS PROVIDED HEREIN; AND PRESCRIBING THE RULES AND REGULATIONS GOVERNING THE CONDUCT OF ALL EMPLOYEES AFFECTED THEREBY AND THE CAUSES FOR 'WHICH ANY EMPLOYEES 1AAY BE REPRIMANDED, SUSPENDED, DISMISSED OR REMOVED FROM EMPLOYMEN1T BY THE CITY; PROVIDING FOR AND ESTABLISHING A RETIREM�- T SYSTEM AND THE CREATION AND MAINTENANNCE OF A PENSION FUND FOR APPOINTIVE EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND AUTHORIZING THE LEVY OF A TAX AND THE ASSESSMENT OF EMPLOYEES FOR THE CREATION AND MAIN- TENANCE OF SAID FUND; PROVIDING FOR WE APPOINTIJCENT OF A BOARD OF TRUSTEES TO ADMII:IST'ER SAID FUND; FIXING AND PRESCRIBING THE QUALIFICATIONS, TERMS OF OFFICE, POWERS AND DUTIES OF SAID BOARD OF TRUSTEES; PRESCRIBING 'THE RULES AND REGULATIONS BY WHICH SAID BOARD OF TRUSTEES AND ALL APPOINTIVE EMPLOYEES SHALL BE GOVERNED WITH REFEREVCE TO THE GRANTING AND ALLOWANCE OF PENSIONS AND OTHER BENEFITS; AND PROVIDING A SEPARABILITY CLAUSE", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON DECE?.BER 2, 1947, AND 94ENDED ON JUNE 27, 1950 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COW4ISSIONERS OF THE CITY CF PADUCAH, KEN TUC KY: SECTION 1. That Section 7 of an ordinance containing the title quoted above, which was adopted on December 2nd, 1947, and amended on June 27, 19500 be and the same is hereby amended so that said section as attended shall read as follows: "SECTION 7.
