AN ORDINANCE FIXING AND ADJUSTING ME RATES OF PAY FOR CERTAIN

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF C0121ISSI01VERS OF, THE CITY OF PADUCAH,

SECTION 1. That from and including the first day of January, 1953,
the monthly rate of compensation to the following non -civil service
employees of the City of Paducah shall be the amount set opposite the
designation of such employment, to -wit:
Position
Corporation Counsel
Assistant Corporation Counsel
Assistant Corporation Counsel (Police Court)
Director of Public Works
City Physician (White)
City Physician (Colored)
Alcoholic Beverage Administrator
Secretary to City Judge
Weighmaster
Monthly Sa1ary

SECTION 2. The payment of salaries as herein provided, including increases,
shall be considered Current Departmental Expenses and shall be chargable
to the accounts of each of said departments or divisions thereof where
said employees are employed, or as directed by the City Manager, and
payment therefor shall be provided for in the annual apportionment
ordinance for the current year upon its adoption. All of the increases
in salaries herein provided shall be retroactively effective and payable
from January 1, 1953.
SECTION 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinaces in conflict herewith
are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be in Mll force and effect from
and after its adoption.
