A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE RIVERSIDE HOSPITAL COA11ISSION TO CONVERT
PROPERTY AT TIIE NORTMIRST CORNER OP 42YI AND CLAY STREETS INTO A PkUCrIIIG L(F
hTIEREAS, certain property located at the northwest corner of 4th and Clay
Streets in the City of Paducah, which has heretofore been acquired by conveyance
to the City of Paducah for the use and benefit of Riverside Hospital facilities,
payment therefor being made from the Paducah i4unicipal Hospital Depreciation
Fund; and
NTMEAS, the Riverside Hospital Commission has indicated that such property
is desirable for parking facilities in connection with the operation of the
Riverside Hospital, and it is believed that same should be used for that purpose;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COiu-1ISSIONERS OF TILE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTIOI✓ 1. That the Riverside Hospital Commission is hereby authorized
and directed to take such action as is necessary, and at their expense, to
convert property located at -the northwest corner of 4th and Clay Streets into
a parking lot for use in connection with Riverside Hospital, and said Hospital
Commission shall do all things necessary to accomplish this purpose, including
the razing of any structure or building now on said property, provided that all
costs in connection therewith be borne by Riverside Hospital funds, and provided
also that said .Commission shall receive and retain such funds that may be realized
from the sale of any buildings on said property.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
