SAID PERMITS SHALL BE GRAAITED
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COIL ISSTONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCIfY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah authorize the City Engineer to grant
to the Western Kentucky Gas Company permits to lay gas mains in the ,following
grass plots:
East grass plot of 21st Street beginning at Clay Street and
running northwardl y to Park Avenue, thence from 21st Street
in the north grass plot of Park Avenue westwardly to 26th Street.
On 21st, 22nd, 23rd and 24th Streets northwardly from Park
Avenue to alley, approximately 125 feet on each street.
Said permits shall be granted upon condition that said company complies
with all the provisions of an ordinance entitled: "A1V ORDINANCE REGULATING
THE DIGGING, OPENING OR EXCAVATING IN ANY STREET, SIDEFIALlf, GRASS PLOT, ALLEY
OR OTHER PUBLIC SWAY OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND FIXING THE PE_+'✓ALTY
FOR ANY VIOLATION THEREOF", which was adopted on September 4, 1946, as amended
thereafter, and also with the provisions of another ordinance entitled:
"AAT ORDINANCE FURTHER REGULATING TILE DIGGING, OPEIVING OR EXCAVATING IN ANY STREET,
SIDMMLK, GRASS PLOT, ALLEY OR OTHER PUBLIC WAY IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY,
AND FIXING THE PENALTY FOR ANY VIOLATION THEREOF", which was adopted on June 17,
1947.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in fu11 force and effect from and
after its adoption.
