I.-LAGNOLIA STREET; AND AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF LOTS NOS. 4•, 5, 14 AND 15 IN SECTION
FOR USE AS PLACES OF BURIAL FOR COLORED PERSONS AND FIXING THE SALE PRICE OF SAID
LOTS
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COIJMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTiCRY:
SECTION 1. That the stand now located upon Lots Nos. 4, 5, 14 and 15
in Section 5 of the Addition to Oak Grove Cemetery, and also the stand located
upon a plot of ground on the north side of Myrtle Avenue between Oak Street and
I::agnolia Street be removed. That said Lots Mos. 4, 5, 14 and 15 in Section 5 be
made available for sale as places of burial for colored persons. The whole of
said lots shall not be sold to any one person or family but the graves thereon
shall be sold separately as and when there is a necessity for places of burial of
colored persons.
SECTION 2. Each of the single graves within the aforesaid lots shall
be sold for the sum of Tvienty (:;20.00) Dollars.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
