SECTION 1. That the City Manager be and he is hereby authorize
for and on behalf of the City of Paducah, to enter into a contract
with E. M. Bailey Distributing Company for purchase of regular gaso
line at a price not to exceed 20.9¢ per gallon, and Ethyl gasoline
at a price not to exceed 22.4¢ per gallon, and to enter into a con-
tract with bifid -Continent Petroleum Corporation for purchase of
Diamond Brand i,:otor Oil, SAE Grades 10-20-30-40-50, at 43¢ per gall
(in 55 gal drums), said prices including state taxes but excluding
Federal taxes; such gasoline and oil to be purchased upon the order
of the City of Paducah for use in governmental operations for a
period of four months beginning January 1, 1950, and upon the term:

said terms and conditions as set forth in said bids being referred
to and made a part of this ordinance to the same extent as if fully)

be purchased shall fully provide that in the event of a decline in
