SECTIOU 1. That the owner and operator of any bulk plant where c,asolin or other inflammable petroleum products are stored within the corporate limits of the City of Paducah, for sale at wholesale sha Ll have installed at said plant easily accessible for immediate and efficient use in the event of a fire a foam t,rpe or other type of fire extinguisher system approved by the Chief of the Fire Depart- ment as being adequate and efficient, and it shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to use or operate any petroleum bulk plant where such Sire extinguisher system is not maintained. SEC TIOIC 2. Any person, firm or corporation who uses or operates a bull: plant for the storage of gasoline or other inflammable petroleum products in violation of or contrary to the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall L -e fined in any sum not less than ~;10.00 nor more than ~100.00 for each offense so committed, and each day such offense is cormitted shall be deemed a separate offense and shall be subject to a separate penalty, or the person so offendini, Dr so guilty of the tiolation of the provisions hereof may, in addition to such fine, be imprisoned for not more than fifty (50) days at the discretion of the Judge or Jury trying the case. :3ECT;1_ON 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
