and reasonable; and
WHEREAS, the late requires that an audit be prepared
annually, such audit of the accounts of all city officers to be
made by a qualified public accountant, NU3 THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CO.73M;ST_ONERS OF TEE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENVICKY:
SECTION 1. That ldorris A. Leo, a Certified Public Accountant
'ce, and he is hereby employed to make an audit of the accounts
and affairs of the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and of all of the
accounts of all city officers, for the year 1949 in accordance
With his r.:':tten proposal for the prlce of X2000.00, and the City
"anagen is hereby authorized to enter into and sign a contract
^ith said public accountant for the preparation of said audit.
,;aid Contract shall provide for the, preparation of an audit in
compliance with all of the provisions of KRS 92.405, and said
Auditor shall furnish to the City in pamphlet form 50 copies
.,f said audit, one (1) to be published in the official nowsraper,
and a copy to be available to each votor who may apply for same
at the office of the City Manager. Said contract shall also
jprovide for the furnishing to the city eight (8) copies of
_e tranacript of the auditor's work shoot, one (1) copy to be
rni3hed to the 9:ayor, the members of the i.oard of Commissioners,
'., City ;'anager and the City Treasurer.
