A RESOLUTION GRANTING TO EARL T. SHOUP THE RIGIiT AND PRIVILE

TO CONNECT HIS PRIVATE SEWER LINE ONTO THE EDWIN P. HAWKINS LINE
WHICH CONNECTS WITH THE CIT SEWER AT THE EAST PROPERTY LINE OF
THE HAWKINS PROPERTY ON THE BUCKNER LAND ROAD AT FORTIETH STREET,
AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH SAID RIGHT
OR PRIVILEGE SHALL BE GRANTED
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COI,R.:ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
Q That the City of Paducah, Kentucky, grant to Earl T. Shoup
the right and privilege to connect his private seder line onto

�p sewer at the easterly property line of the said Edwin P. Hawkins

f33 on the Buckner Lane Road at Fortieth Street, said sewer line
connection to be made and the said Earl T. Shoup to receive the
benefits of sewerage service upon the condition that he execute
and deliver to the City of Paducah an agreement which shall be
in words and figures as follows, to -wit:
"That for and in consideration of the granting of a permit
to the said Earl T. Shoup to connect his private sewer line onto
the Edwin P. Hawkins line which connects with the city sewer at
the east property line of the Hawkins property on the Buckner Lane
Road at Fortieth street, which permit has been granted pursuant to
a resolution adopted by the Board of Commissioners on the 18th day
of October, 1949, a copy= of which is filed with and made a part
of this Agreement to the same extent as if fully copied herein, t
said Earl T. Shoup does hereby agree:
That the entire expense for making said sewer line conn-
ection, as well as for maintaining said sewer line extension and
keeping the same in repair, shall be paid by him, it being under
stood that the City of Paducah does not assume any responsibility
whatever for the maintenance of said sewer line extension, or for
furnishing any sewerage service by reason of any stoppage in the
city sewer or in any extension thereof, or by reason of the
inadequacy or bad state of repair of either said city sewer or
the extension thereof."
SECTION 2.
This Resolution shall be in full force and, e fact from
and after its adoption.
