ANS DELIVER TO W, F. SCROGGINS A DEED OF CORRECTION TO A IAT AT THE
SOUTHWEST CORNER OF NINTH AND BACHMAN STREETS IN PADUCAH, KENTUCKY
WHEREAS, under and pursuant to an ordinance adopted by the
Board of Commissioners on December 12, 1943, as will be shown of record
in Ordinance Book 10, page 905, the City of Paducah by and through the
Mayor and City Clerk, executed and delivered to W. F. Scroggins a deed of
conveyance to the hereinafter described real estate: and,
WHEREAS, the aforesaid deed to the said W. F. Scroggins has been
lost and he has requested that another deed be executed and delivered to
him in order to perfect his title to said property;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby
authorized to execute, for and on behalf of the City of Paducah, a deed
of correction to the said W. F. Scroggins, conveying to him a certain lot
or parcel of land fronting 40 feet on the south side of Bachman Street
and running back for depth along the west side of Ninth Street 102 feet,
and that said deed be executed in consideration of the sum of $150.00
heretofore paid by the said W. F. Scroggins in settlement of the purchase
price for said property.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption.
