SALARIES OF TIS POLICE DEP4R'ME.NT AHD REPEALING A:L ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREVIITH", vpACEI U'/AS ADOPTED BY THE LOARD OF COWMISSIONER: ON FEBRUARY 23, 1949. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CO?4MISSION RS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That Section 1 of the ordinance bearing the title quoted in the title of this ordinance be, and the same is hereby repealed, amended and reordained so that said section as amended and reordained shall .read as follows: "SECTICiI 1. The number and ranks of members of the Police Department Of the City of Paducah, and their monthly salaries, pro vided said salaries are not changed by any annual apportionment ordinance adopted hereafter, shall be as follows: Position Humber of Yonthly Positions Salary Chief of Police 1 X285.00 Asst. Chief of Police 1 230.00 Chief Detective 1 225.00 Captain 4� 215.00 Lieutenant 4 210.00 Jailer 1 205.00 Sergeant 5 205.00 Policemen 25 200.00 Provided, however, that a new member of this department, duri E his first year of service, shall receive a salary of u190.00 per month, and upon completion of a year of satisfactory service, as determined by the City Manager on recommendation of the Chief of Police, his monthly salary shall be increased to the amount shown above. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
