DE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COI M-3SIONERS OF THE CITY I OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That upon the recommendation and request of the City Pla and Zoning Commission as shorn by its final report embodied in a resolution adopted by it on :.:arch 19, 1949, all of the property on the _forth side of Ohio Street from 21st Street to 23rd Street, and both sides of Ohio Street from 23rd Street to 26th Street, extendin back for depth to the center line of the block on each side is here declared to be a residential district within the meaning of the Cit Planning and Zoning Commission Law and to be used for residential purposes only. SECTION 2. All property within said area is subject to the following restrictions: 1. No residence to be built costing less than ;$6000.00 2. Any new residence to be set back at least 20 feet from the front property line. 3. Only one (1) residence to be constructed per lot, and it is to be built fronting the street in the manner in which the lot is layed out. SECT:.OIi 3. Any property owner, tenant or other person who erects, con - 3 true S on -structs or reconstructs any building in violation of or contrary to the aforesaid provisions of this ordinance, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be fined in an sum not less than X10.00 nor more than k100.00 for each offense so committed and each day such offense is committed shall ba deemed a separate offense and shall be subject to a separate penalty under the provisions hereof, or the person so offending or so guilty of violation of the provisions hereof, may in addition to such fine be imprisoned not more than fifty days at the discretion of the Judge or Jury tryin; the case.
