SALARIES OF MEMBERS OF THE FIRE DEPAR'EMENT AND REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREVIIIH.
BF IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COM.":ISSIONEP.S OF THE CITY
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION I. The number and ranks of members of the Fire
Department of the City of Paducah, and their monthly salaries,
provided said salaries are not changed by any annual apportionment
ordinance adopted hereafter, shall be as follows:

Provided, however, that a new member of this department,
during his first year of service, shall receive a salary of K190.0
per month, and upon completion of a year of satisfactory service,
as determined by the City Dlanager on recommendation of the Fire
Chief, his monthly salary shall be increased to the amount shown
above.
SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in•c onfli
herewith are to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be retroactively effective
on and after January 1, 1949, and the salaries authorized herein
shall be paid for services rendered on and after Ja/nuary_1, 1949.
