AN ORDINANCE APPOINTING GUS E. HANK ACTING CITY MANAGER,
PRESCRIBING HIS DUTIES AND PROVIDING THAT HE SHALL SERVE ',WITHOUT
COMPENSATION
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COI,MISSIONERS OF THE C!rFf
OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That Gus E. Hank be and he is hereby appointed
to the office of Acting City Manager and as such he shall be authori-
zed and empowered to perform all of the duties of the City Manager
when he is ebsent from the city or unable to attend to the duties
of his office, or when a vacancy may be created by the resignation,
removal or death of the City Manager. He shall have power to sign
all checks and other documents which the City Manager is authorized
to sign by law or by ordinance, and to perform such other duties as
may be required of the City Manager.
SECTION 2. The Acting City Manager shall serve without
compensation at the pleasure of the Board of Commissioners and may
be removed at any time by majority of the members of the Board of
Commissioners.
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
