HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 11, Page 611, No Ordinance Number611 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE RE -APPROPRIATION OF CERTAIN OF THE PUBLIC FUNDS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH FOR THE YEAR 1948 BY TRANSFERRING UNUSED APPROPRIATIONS MADE FOR CERTAIN PURPOSES TO OTHER PURPOSES; SPECIFYING THE TRANSFERS TO BE MADE; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH }THEREAS, under the apportionment ordinance adopted on April 27, 1948, as will be shown of record in ordinance book No. 11, at page 508, of the official records of the City of Paducah, the public funds of the City were appropriated for the governmental purposes provided therein, and it now appears upon the reconimendation of the City Manager that adjustments should be made by transferring funds which will not be used for certain purposes to other purposes NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COWISSIO'AERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: I SECTION 1. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SECTION 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to cause to be publishe in the Sun -Democrat a notice of the introduction of this ordinance and the propo to make the aforesaid transfers of the public funds for the year 1948, said notice to be published at least one week before this ordinance shall be put upon its final passage. SECTION 4. This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for public inspection until the notice of the transfer of public funds as pro- vided herein shall have been published as required by law, and shall be put upon its final passage after such publication.
