A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING, AUTHORIZING AND EMPOWERING
PADUCAH AIRPORT CORPORATION TO PERFORM THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED
ACTS IN BEHALF OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND THE COUNTY OF
j McCRACKEN, KENNCKY
WHEREAS, the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and the
County of McCracken, Kentucky, jointly own a tract of ground
more particularly described in Deed Book 212, page 155, Mc -
Cr
ackenn County Court Clerk's Office, on which is located the
Paducah -McCracken County Airport; and, whereas, the aforesaid
city and county, in conjunction with the department of Aeronautics
of the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the Civil Aeronautics
Il Administration of the United States, contemplate the installation
Iof a lighting system at the above described airport; and,
Iwhereas, it will be necessary to designate, authorize and
empower an agency in behalf of the aforesaid city and county
Ito perform all acts in belhalf of the said city and county that
may be required of both of the latter in connection with the
netting of contracts, the disbursing of money, by check or in
(cash, and otherwise promoting and accomplishing the completion
of said installation above mentioned:
NOW, THEREFORE, the premises considered, be it
resolved by the City of Paducah, Kentucky, and the County of
McCracken, Kentucky, that the Paducah Airport Corporation be
designated, authorized and empowered to act as an agency in
behalf of the aforesaid city and county in performing all
acts and executing all documents that might or could be required
of said city and county in connection with or in order to
accomplish the installation of a lighting system at the aforesaod
airport located on the ground above mentioned;
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Paducah
Airport Corporation be and it is hereby authorized and empowered
to execute and deliver all contracts with all persons, firms
and corporation, including the Department of Aeronautics of
the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the Civil Aeronautics
Idministration of the United States, and to disburse all Hands,
)y check or in cash or otherwise, received by it from any and
tll sources, in payment 6or all material furnished and all labor
performed in the installation of said lighting system.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said city and said
ounty hereby confirm all acts that have already been or may

hereafter be performed by the Paducah Airport Corporation
in the execution and delivery of contracts and in the assumption
of any indebtedness in connection tirith the installation of
said lighting system at said airport above described.
