HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 11, Page 532, No Ordinance NumberAN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING THE MANNER OF PARKING OF VEHICLES UPON THE STREETS OR PORTIONS OF STREETS THAT MAY BE USED FOR PARKING IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY; FIXING THE PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. Except as provided in Section 2 hereof, vehicles shall be parked parallel with the curb in the spaces 4 provided for that purpose where parking is permitted on the streets under other ordinances of the City of Paducah, and it shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to park or leave any vehicle standing at right anZles or at any other angle to the curb on any public street where parking is allowed. i Q SECTION 2. Vehicles shall be parked at an angle of Forty- five (45) degrees to the curb on the east side of North Fourth nso•v E �194�1 Street between Park Avenue and Clay Street, and on the North side ,Ve ,L4c of Clay Street between 3rd Street and 4th Street, and it, shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to park or leave any vehicle standing parallel with the curb or at any angle other than an angle of Fort -five (45) degrees in those parking areas. SECTION 3. Any person, firm, company or corporation violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined not less than .x1.00 nor more than �y25.CO. SECTION 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in i i conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SECTION 5.
