BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah transfer the sum of x;2,642.50 from the Contingent Fund, Account 1500, which sum shall be used for the following other purposes and to supp- lement the following accounts, namely, for building maintenance at Oak Grove Cemetery, Account 5387, ;x42.50, and for the Floodwall, Account 6400, x"2000.00; and that the sum of .384.00 be transferred from the Street Department machine equipment account, Account 6291, to the Police Department machine equipment account, Account 3191. SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized to cause to be published in the Sun -Democrat a notice of the intro- duction of this ordinance and the proposal to make the aforesaid transfers of appropriations for the year 1948 to provide the sum of 3026.50 for the .purposes set forth in Section 1 of this ordinance, said notice to be published at least one week before this ordinance shall be put upon its final passage. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall ce introduced and remain on file for public inspection until the transfer of funds as provided herein shall have been published as required by law and shall be put upon its final passage after such publication.
