HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 11, Page 526, No Ordinance Number526 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5 OF AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ENFORCEMENT WITHIN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, OF AN ACT OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF KENTUCKY ADOPTED IN 1928, C01S&iOiSLY KNOIN AND REFERRED TO AS 'THC CITY PLANNING Ai:D ZONING LAIN ", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON DECEMBER 17, 1928, AND AS AMENDED ON APRIL 27, 1948 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COTOJISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTIO`i 1. That Section 5 of an ordinance containing the title ouoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on December 17, 1928, and amended on April 27, 1948, be, and the same is hereby amended so that said section as amended shall read ii as follows: I 5 "Section 5. Before issuing any Building Permit, or before 04,, any person shall use a building of any kind as a gasoline filling 3o,/y S/Il station, automobile renair shop, public garage or parking lot, public stable, lunch stand or fruit or vegetable stand, tourist o jcourt, tourist cabin, tourist home, or as a place where lodging is furnished for transients, or as a motel, slaughter house, factory of any kind, warehouse roadhouse, or chemical works, an application therefor shall be first submitted to and approved by the City Planning and Zoning Commission, and if a building perms is required under the provisions of the Buildinr, Code and the Stand ards of Safety, the permit obtained from the City Planning and Zoning Commission shall then be submitted to the Building Inspector for his consideration as otherwise provided by the law and the ordinances of the City of Paducah". SECTION 2. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict hereby repealed. SECTION 3.
