AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE SALE TO THE COMMONWEALTH
OF KENTUCKY FOR THE WEST KENTUCKY VOCATIONAL TRAINING SCHOOL OF
LOT 24 IN BLOCK 8, AND LOT 8 IN BLOCK 9 OF RO'WLANDIS ADDITION TO
THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY; AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR PRO TEM
AND THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A DEED OF CONVEYANCE TO SAID
PROPERTY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY.
SECTION 1.
That the City of Paducah accept the offer of the
Commonwealth of Kentucky for the West Kentucky Vocational Training
School, in the sum of $200.00 to be paid in cash for the purchase
of Lot 24 in Block 8 and Lot 8 in Block 9 of Rowland's Addition
to the City of Paducah, as shown by plat of record in Deed Book
40, page 366, McCracken County Court Clerk's Office; and the
Mayor Pro Tem and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute,
for and on behalf of the City of Paducah, a deed under which said
property shall be conveyed with covenant of Special lYarranty of
title and subject to any encroachments, defects, or any other state
Of facts which an accruate survey of said property would show.
SEC TION 2.
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
