JUNIOR CHAMBER OF COMMERCE CONVEYING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO
THE CITY OF PADUCAH FOR THE USE AND BENEFIT OF THE COMM-
ISSIONERS OF WATERWORKS
WHEREAS, the Commissioners of Waterworks have
submitted to the City of Paducah their request for approval
of the purchase of certain property to be used as a site
for a pumping station, the entire purchase price to be
paid by the Commissioners of Waterworks;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF TIM CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCI:Y:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah approve
the purchase of a certain lot or parcel of land from the
Paducah Junior Chamber of Commerce, said lot or parcel
of land being more particularly described in the copy of
the deed from the Paducah Junior Chamber of Commerce to the
City of Paducah for the use and benefit of the Commissioners
of Waterworks, which is attached to and made a part of this
ordinance; that said lot or parcel of land be purchased for
use as a site for the construction of a pumping plant; and
that the Mayor of the City of Paducah be authorized to
accept a deed to said property for and on behalf of the
City of Paducah.
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
