HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 11, Page 491, No Ordinance Number491 AN ORDINANCE REPEALING AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED: "AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EMPLOY14ENT OF A DELINQUENT • , TAX ATTORNEY IN THE LEGAL DEPART14ENT OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, I KENTUCKY AND NOT EXCEEDING FIVE ASSISTANT DELINQUENT TAX ATTORNEYS TO INSTITUTE AND PROSECUTE SUITS FOR THE COLLECTION OF AD VALOREM TAXES AND PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT ASSESSMENTS; PRESCRIBING THE DUTIES OF SAID ATTORNEYS, FIXING THE AMOUNT IOF COMPENSATION WHICH THEY SHALL RECEIVE FOR THEIR SERVICES, IAND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THEREWITH", WHICH WAS ADOPTED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS ON MARCH 30, 1943 AND AMENDED ON APRIL 9, 1946 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That an ordinance containing the title quoted above, which was adopted by the Board of Commissioners on March 30, 1943 and amended on April 9, 1946, be and the same is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption.
