SECTION 1.
That the City of Paducah lease to ';;oodrow Hook and Harry
Mathis, dving business under the firm name of H 8: M. bSotors, for
the remainder of the ,year 1947 betinnin4 on April 1st, 1947,
the property at ;;'209 South Third Street at a rental of :20.00
per month payable on the first day of each and every month in
advance. Provided, however, that the city shall retain in said
lease the right ani privilege to use said lot at any time when
conductin- fire drills or other training pro --rams by the fire
department, and that said propert.t may be used for that purpose
at any time provided the lessees are .given one hour's prior notice
by the Chief of rolice. The lease shall also contain such other
provisions as the City tanager may believe necessary for the pro-
tection -of the interests of the City of Paducah, and the Mayor
and City Cleric are hereby suthorized•to execute said lease for the
)urpose of carrying the provisions of this ordinance into effect.
SEC TI 0h: 2.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
fter :its adoption.
