R- GIRL:':' -i , THE EXECUTION OF A FERF0M.i.q:10E BOND Ec PERJOi`dS JUEMIITTI:dG BIDS FOR T E PURrHASE OF 7:10 COME INATION PUMPER FIRE TRUCKS Ef THE CIT1 OF PAD'UCAH 7FHER EAS, under a resolution adopted February 24, 1948, the City N.anaEer was authorized to advertise for bids for the purchase of two combination pumper fire trucks, and certain yeriis and con- ditians we -e specified with reference to the conditions with which bidders were required to comply; and. 71FEREAS, it is deemed advisable to require of all Lidders an aGreement to e:;ecute a bond in the sum of Two Thousand (N2000.00) Dollars for the faithful per^ormance of the contract entered into for a sale made by any bidder; 1017 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED EY T --,-TE EOARD OF COMIMIS:3IO%�TS OF THE CITZ OF' PAD'UCA11, ILENTUCKY: SECT -10=J 1. That in addition to the requirements set forth in the resolution adopted February 24, 1948, recuirin- bidders to comply with certain conditions when submittin-r offers for the sale to the Crit y of Paducah of two combination pumper fire trucks, each bidder shall state in his bid that he is willin to execute and deliver to the City of Paducah a. bond in the penal sum of Two Thousand ('f=0.00) Dollars conditioned upon the faithful performa of his contract .for the s ale of a pumper or pumpers if he should be the successful bidder, said bond to be in substance satisfactory to the City :,'anager and in the form which --:ill be approved by the atto for the city. SECTION 2.
