ORDINANCE NO. 2002-2-6484
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
CONTRACT WITH EDEN FENCE COMPANY FOR GUARDRAIL INSTALLATION
AND REPAIR IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT THE CITY
WHEREAS, these materials and services are available under State
Contract Number M-01246221, and competitive bidding is not required.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1. That the City of Paducah is authorized to pay a sum not to
exceed a total of $100,000.00 for a period of two (2) years to Eden Fence Company for
guardrail installation and repair in various locations throughout the City, and the Mayor is
hereby authorized to execute a contract for same. The initial contract shall be for a
period of one year with a one-year option to renew.

SECTION 2. This purchase shall be charged to Account No. 001-2202-
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be read on two separate days and will
become effective upon summary publication pursuant to KRS Chapter 424.
