LARKINS AND VALERIE LARKINS, DOING BUSINESS AS THE LARK -NS PLUMBING COMPANY IN THE SUM OF $7,975.00 FOR IEiE CONSTRUCTION OF TOILET ROOMS AND SINKS AT THE CITY MARKET HOUSE; AUTHORIZING `LIE I;IAYOR, FOR AND Oil EEHALI OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT 'WITH LARKINS PLUMBING COMPANY FOR SAID WORK; AND PRESCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS TO BE CONTAINED IN SAID CONTRACT BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF CO1tiMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SEC TION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of D. Y. Larkins an Valeria Larkins, partners doing business as the Larkins Flumbing i Company, in the sum of p7,975.00 for the construction of toilet rooms and sinks in the City Market House, said work to be done upon the terms, conditions and agreements and in accordance with the contract and specifications which are filed herewith and made a part hereof to the same extent as if fully copied herein, and the Mayor is hereby authorized, for and on behalf of the City of Paducah, to enter into said contract with the Larkins Plumbing Company for the construction of said toilet rooms and sinks. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced at a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners and remain on file for public inspec tion one week in the completed form in which it shall be put upon i final passage. By reason of the necessity of providing sanitary facilities at the city market with as little delay as possible, the public health, safety and welfare requires that this ordinance be made immediately effective, and it shall be in full force and effect from and after its adoption. r Introduced by the Board of Commissioners, December 2, 1947 Passed by the Board of Commissioners, December 2, 1947 Recorded by Sarah Thurman, City Clerk, December 9, 1947.
