AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE BID OF WILLIAM..BURGER AND LOUIS
BURGER IN THE SUM OF $4600.00 FOR THE PURCHASE OF PROPERTY OF
THE CITY OF PADUCAH LOCATED AT THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF 10TH AND
CLAY STREETS IN SAID CITY; ALSO THE OFFER OF GEORGE W. BYRD IN
THE SUM OF $40.00 FOR THE PURCHASE OF LOT 28, BLOCK 1 ON ALLEN
STREET; AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE DEEDS
OF CONVEYANCE TO SAID PROPERTY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COM?JISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the City of Paducah accept the bid of Sillliam Burger
and Louis Burger in the sum of :4600.00 cash for the purchase
of property owned by the City of Paducah at the northwest corner
of the intersection of 10th and Clay Streets; also the bid of
George 1,11. Byrd in the sum of •;?40.00 cash for the purchase of
Lot 28 in Block 1 on the north side of Allen street, said lot
begins 285 feet viest of Bridge street; and the Mayor and City
Clerk are hereby authorized to execute, for and on behalf of
the City of Paducah, deeds of conveyance to said property, the
same to be conveyed under covenant of special warranty and subject
any encroachments and other physical defects which might be
shown by the making of an accurate survey.
SEC TION 2.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
ind after its adoption.
