REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THL107ITH
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COM MSI0I,ERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH,
KENTUCKY:
•SECTION 1.
Whenever there shall be a vacancy in the fire department of the
Ci -y of Paducah, such vacancy shall be filled by the oldest member of -the
department in point of service regardless of position or rank and if the
officer who is entitled to advance to such position such decline to do so, said
position shall be filled by the nem member oldest in point of service. If
any officer who is entitled to fill a vacancy should decline to do so, he shall
not thereafter have the ri@ht to oust that employee who accepted such vacancy.
SECTION 2.
All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to
the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed.
SECT -1-01-1 3.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
adoption.
