HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinances Book 11, Page 215, No Ordinance Number21� i` AN ORDINANCE TO FURTHER REGULATE THE PARKING OF VEHICLES ON NORTH SECOND STREET BETNEEN BROADWAY AND JEFFERSON IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY; PRESCRIBING THE PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT THERE'NITH BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SEC TION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, company or cor- poration to park or leave standing for any purpose a vehicle of any kind on North Second Street between Broadway and Jefferson in the city of Paducah, Kentucky, for a longer period than two (2) hours between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. on each day of the weep except Sunday. SECTION 2. Vehicles parked as provided herein shall be left standing Parallel with the curb in the spaces provided for that purpose and it shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle to park or leav the same standing at right angles to the curb. SECTION 3. Any person, firm, company or corporation violating the pro- visions of this ordinance shall be fined not less than $1.00 nor me than 425.00, and each time any vehicle is parked within the aforesa block for more than two (2) hours during the time prohibited in Section 1 hereof shall be construed to be a separate offense. SECTION 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SECTION 5.
