AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING T8E TRANSFER OF ;;930.52 FROM THE
APPORTIONMENT TO THE VETERANS HOUSING PROJECT UNDER THE APPORTION-
i.'MiT ORDINANCE OF 1947, PROVIDING FOR THE USE OF „465.26 OF SAID 6U
FOR THE PURCHASE OF STREET DEPARTMENT MACHINERY, AND ;;465.26 FOR TH
PURCHASE OF PARTS AND ACCESSORIES FOR THE STREET DEPARTMENT
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE EOARD OF COMMISSIOTIER3 OF THE CITY OF
PADUCAH, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the rit,y of Paducah transfer from Account 7200 the sum
of '930.52, which sum was appropriated to the Veterans Housing Pro-
ject, :465.26 of said sum so transferred to be credited to Account.
6291 and appropriated for use in the purchase of machinery and
equipment by the street pdeartment, and.;;465.26 of said sum so
transferred to be credited to Account 6285 for use in the purchase
of parts and accessoriesby the street department.
SECTIO21 2.
The City Clerk is hereby authorized to cause to be publisned
in the Uun-Democrat a notice of the introduction of this ordinance
and the proposal to make the aforesaid transfer of appropriations
for the year 1947 to provide the funds necessary for the purchasing
of machinery, equipment, parts and accessories in the street depart
ment of the City of Paducah, said notice to oe published at least
one week before this ordinance shall be put upon its final passage.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall be introduced and remain on file for
,.ublic inspection until the transfer of funds as provided herein
shall have been published as required by law and shall be put upon
its final passaZe after such publication.
