FETTER SUPPLY COV11PANY PI THE SUM OF X3591.54 FOR FURNISHING TO THE CITY OF PAD "CI -I OF THE CONCRETE PIPE AND VI NECESSARY FOR USE IN THE CONSTRUCT IO'r OF A SE19ER 817 LINEAR FEET IN LENGTH ALONG THE NORTH SIDE OF THE ILLINOIS CENTRAL RAILROAD COMPANY TRACKS BETdEEN 8TH STREET AND 10 STREET rROM THE EXISTIN% 102" C01EI14ATION SEWER WEST TO THE WEST PROPERTY LINE OF TERRELL STREET, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO PLACE AN ORDER WITH SAID COMPANY FOR THE PURCHASE OF CONCRETE PIPE AND WYES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SPECIFICATIONS PROVIDED HEREM BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SEC TION 1. That the City of Paducah accept the bid of the Henry A. Fetter Supply Company in the sum of 5;3591.54 for the purchase of all concrete pipe and wyes necessary for use in the laying of a sewer line 817 linear feet in length along the north side of the Illino Central Railroad Company tracks between 8th street and 10th street from the existing 102" combination server west to the west property line of Terrell street, and the City Manager is hereby authorized to place with said company an order for the purchase of said concrete pipe and wyes in accordance with the following specificatons: "Reinforced Concrete Sewer Pipe meeting ASTM C-75 Specifications, delivered as near ditch line in Paducah as loaded truck can reach under its own power - 786 Ft. - 30" RC Server Pipe - per foot :x•4.19 03293.34 15 - 30" x 6" Y's - each 19.88 298.20 $3591.54 Terms: Net 30 days Manufacturer - Kentucky Concrete Pipe Co., Owensboro, Ky. Delivery can be made on ten days notice." It is understood and agreed that said pipe and wyes shall be delivered on ten (10) days notice. SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be introduced at a regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners and remain on file for one week for public inspection in the completed form in which it shall be put upon its final passage, and if adopted it shall be in full force and effect ten (10) days thereafter.
