That the City 1:anager be, and he is hereby authorized to advertise for Lids for the equipment and work listed and described below. each bidder shall sutmit sealed bids for eithe- or both of the following heating installations in the City Hall: :To. 1 The present boiler in the heating plant of the City Hall to be removed by the bidder, and to be replaced by a welded or riveted steel boiler, equipped for an oil burner, with full set of trimmings and all necessary connections, of a size not less than the size re- quired to carry the present load in the City Hall, the central fire station and the police garaLe. This new steel boiler to be covered -:pith 1 1/2 inch maEnesia bloc!:s and finished with 1/2 inch asbestos and Portland cemont and smootlily trotacled, and then to ie covered wI th ten ounce canvas and; one coat of water :Nater paint to be applied. T is .err steel boiler shall be equipped ::ith heavy �:aur,e breschint'� of the same rize as the boiler outlet. �n oil burner adequate to heat this ..oiler to be installed and equipped with all controls, all necessary virin;,- and a combustion chamber. The present stoker to be installed in the new boiler, complete %with all necessary dead plates and refactory, all necessary s: i_ ins to be installed, and any bailer pits that may .�e nec.-soary for installation of the stoker.
