GRASS PLOT, ALLEY OR OCHER FULLIC °!A'£ IN THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY, AND FIXING WE PENAL`.l'Y FOR AT VIOLATION 911EREOF BE IT ORDAINED BY TIE EOARD OF COM.',ISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF PADUCAH, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. All construction work in any street or other public way whic involves the construction or reconstruction of paving, sidewalks, driveways, curbs, gutters, sewers and crater lines after the same shall have been opened or excavated shall be inspected and approved by the Street Zuperintendent after a permit for the doing of such work has been issued 'aj the City Engineer. The depth, location, Grade alignment and proper pointing of all sewer pipe lines and private water lines shall be approved by the Street Superintendent before the ditch is back filled and before any pipe is covered by the constactor or by the person doinE the work. Location and depth measurement of all house service line sewers shall be made by the Enrrineering Department before the pipe is covered by the contractor. If a permit is granted for lateral sewer construction, the sewer sh 1 be built, if the Engineering Department so desires, according to lire and grades furnished by the Engineering Department. On all pavemen , sidewalk, driveway, curb and gutter construction or 'recons true tion. work the grade, finished work and curing shall be thoroughly checks and approved b•! the Street superintendent and he shall require all lof such construction work to be done in conformity with the standar( construction design specified by the City Engineer. Notice for all measuring, work to be done by the En4ineering Department and all inspection work to be done by the Street Depart- ment shall be given by the contractor to each department during regular city working hours at least four (4) hours in advance of measurement or inspection. No inspection or measurements will be made by either department outside of regular city working hours. SECTION 2. Any person violating or failing to comply with any of the 1. provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by a fine of not less than ;5.00 and not more than •;,50.00, or by imprisonment in the city I' jail for a period of not exceedin,thirty (30) days, or, by both suci fine and imprisonment. 107 S1CTi0I 3. All ordinancos and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are, to the extent of such conflict, hereby repealed. SECTIOK 4.
