Craig, Executive Secretary of the Manufacturers & Wholesalers Association; and, i 'WHEREAS, the said Chess 8. Wymond Company has made - I application for exemption from municipal taxation on its business and manufacturing properties at the above location; and, VIIiEREAS, it appearing that the manufacturing plant i of said applicant is a bona fide manufacturing enterprise and that the product it will manufacture is entirely new and will i be different in kind and character from any type of product previously manufactured by the Hollis Johnson Company; and, i; ',WHEREAS, it further appearing that said applicant is entitled to ememption from taxation for a period of five (5) years as an inducement to the operation of said business in the City of Paducah; NOW TIHEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF C0:,.K,.I33I0 dER3 OF THE CITY OF PADUCAII, KENTUCKY: SECTION 1. That the buoiness of the Chess ec Flymond Company of I Louisville, Kentucky, the real estate owned by it, and all manufacturing properties owned and operated in the business 1 of said company, at j/2426 drTeyers Street in the City of Paducah Kentucky,be from the pa � exempt P- yment 'to the I City of Paducah, of all license taxes and all ad valorem taxes, with the exception of the taxes due and payable for school purposes, for a period of five (5) years, beginning with the year 1945. ii SLC TION 2.
