A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ACTION OF THE

CITY MANAGER IN ADVERTISING FOR BIDS FOR THE SALE BY TIIE
CITY OF PADUCAH OF THE OLD AIRPORT PROPERTY ON THE COLEMAN
ROAD
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS
OF THE CITY OF PADUCAII, KENTUCKY:
SECTION 1.
That the Board of Commissioners approve the
action of the City Manager in advertising for bids for the
sale by the City of Paducah of the Old Airport property
consisting of 50 acres of land located on the Coleman Road
near Paducah, Kentucky, said 'bids to be submitted under
seal not later than January 24th, 1944 at 10:00 A.M.
No bid shall be received after the hour fixed for the
opening of bids, and all bids shall thereafter be filed
with the Board of Commissioners who may let the contract
to the highest responsible bidder.
SECTION 2.
The City reserves the right to reject any
and all bids, and shall not become legally liable Br
obligated to the successful bidder until the adoption of
an ordinance authorizing the execution of a deed.
SECTION 3.
This Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
